Marca reports that Benzema, now with Al Ittihad, has not returned to practice after being placed on leave, and his future with the Saudi Arabian club is uncertain, despite scoring 12 goals in 20 appearances.
Firmino, the former Liverpool striker, is also exploring a return to European football. Chelsea’s interest in these loan deals reflects their urgency to address scoring concerns and enhance attacking options this season.
