VERY SAD NEWS has been announced for Chelsea FLOP and Outcast player Hakim Ziyech at Galatasaray this morning.

Hakim Ziyech could defy expectations with a potential return to Chelsea in January, as Galatasaray contemplates ending his loan prematurely. Ziyech departed Stamford Bridge last summer after unsuccessful stints with PSG and the Saudi Pro League, facing challenges under former managers Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter.

Despite Mauricio Pochettino approving Ziyech’s loan move to Turkey, the player’s fortunes haven’t unfolded as anticipated. In 14 games, the 30-year-old managed six assists and four goals, half of which came in the Champions League 3-3 draw against Manchester United.

Persistent injuries and fitness concerns have curtailed his playing time and impact, prompting Galatasaray to consider terminating the loan, as reported by Turkish broadcaster NTV Spor and cited in the Daily Mail.

Two notable obstacles cast doubt on this potential return. Firstly, Ziyech’s call-up to the Morocco national team for the Africa Cup of Nations will keep him away for the entire January transfer window. Collaborating with fellow players like PSG’s Achraf Hakimi and Manchester United’s Sofyan Amrabat, Ziyech aims to lead the Atlas Lions in their quest for AFCON victory.

Secondly, confusion surrounds the terms of Ziyech’s loan agreement. Chelsea purportedly requires Galatasaray to purchase Ziyech at the end of the current campaign for a reported fee of £2.5 million. However, conflicting reports suggest it might be a purchase option or requirement under specific circumstances.

If the former holds true, the likelihood of Ziyech returning seems minimal. However, even in such a scenario, it would mark a peculiar reunion considering the player openly criticized club owner Todd Boehly just a month ago.

Ziyech, who joined Chelsea in 2020 for £34 million from Ajax, had an impactful stint with the Blues, contributing to their triumphs in the UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, Champions League, and two FA Cups, along with reaching a League Cup final.

The coming weeks will provide clarity on Ziyech’s future and whether a return to Chelsea is a viable option amid the intricate dynamics of his loan agreement and contractual obligations.
