BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea FC experiences a significant departure on transfer deadline day as a key player exits, resulting in the Blues relinquishing substantial financial expectations.

Fulham has secured a last-minute loan deal for Chelsea striker Armando Broja before the transfer deadline, with an agreed loan fee capped at £4 million, extending until the end of the current season.

The overall cost is dependent on Broja’s participation in games during this period.

Initially valuing the Albanian international at £50 million and showing reluctance towards a loan deal, Chelsea adjusted their pricing strategy due to challenges in finalizing a permanent transfer.

Despite starting negotiations with a £50 million demand, Chelsea faced limited interest, with no takers at the £40 million mark.

Consequently, the club approved a loan deal, allowing Armando Broja to choose between potential destinations.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and AC Milan expressed interest in the striker.

Fulham actively sought attacking reinforcements, particularly to fill the gap left by Alexander Mitrovic’s departure.

At 22 years old, Broja is set to join Fulham on loan, with plans to assess his situation during this period and make informed decisions about his long-term future, prioritizing regular playing time to showcase his talents.

Despite these developments, Chelsea remains firm about not needing to offload players to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules.

This stance persists despite significant financial investments by the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly, who has infused £1 billion since taking ownership.

Although Chelsea considered selling Conor Gallagher during this transfer window, no club matched their asking price of £50 million or more.

The talented English midfielder, in response, expresses determination to stay with the club and compete for a spot in the squad.
