In the opening half of the Chelsea vs. Liverpool match, dissatisfaction among Chelsea supporters was evident towards Moises Caicedo and Mauricio Pochettino.
Liverpool took control in the first half, establishing a 2-0 lead that could have expanded to 3-0 if Darwin Nunez hadn’t struck the post with a penalty.
Despite Liverpool’s commendable performance, Chelsea fans were frustrated, believing their team was denied a penalty early in the game.
Liverpool’s goals, courtesy of Diogo Jota and emerging talent Conor Bradley, left Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino visibly displeased.
Pochettino faced criticism from Blues supporters who argued that his tactical decisions left their record signing, Moises Caicedo, exposed on the field. Caicedo received an early booking for dissent and made a significant error later in the half.
Additionally, Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea’s former record signing, struggled in midfield against Liverpool.
