Arsenal is reportedly keeping tabs on several players ahead of the summer transfer window.
One of the players on their radar is Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy, an 18-year-old Turkish forward who has impressed scouts from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City at EURO 2024.
According to HITC, Arsenal and Manchester City are leading the race to sign Kilicsoy.
Another player Arsenal is considering is AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
The Athletic reports that both Arsenal and AC Milan are interested in the defensive midfielder, who could cost around £15 million.
Fofana can play as a number six and could be a good fit for the team.
Arsenal is also in the market for a striker after Benjamin Sesko decided to stay at RB Leipzig. One of the forwards they are interested in is Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee.
However, Manchester United is currently in advanced talks with Zirkzee’s camp, and the striker has a £34 million release clause.
Additionally, Arsenal has been linked with Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. While Manchester City is willing to pay the £100 million release clause, Arsenal is not prepared to meet this fee.
However, Guimaraes is reportedly enthusiastic about leaving Newcastle this summer, which could open the door for Arsenal to make a move.
Overall, Arsenal is exploring various options to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
