Andriy Lunin, the 25-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper, has addressed the speculation surrounding his future amid interest from Chelsea and other Premier League clubs.

Lunin, who has impressed with his performances for Real Madrid, is considered a prime target for Chelsea as they seek to strengthen their goalkeeping options.

However, Lunin has expressed his desire to remain at Real Madrid and fight for the No. 1 spot, despite the interest from other clubs.

Lunin’s comments come as Chelsea intensifies its search for a new goalkeeper to challenge Robert Sanchez, who is reportedly Enzo Maresca’s preferred choice for the upcoming season.

Sanchez has been the current first-choice goalkeeper for Maresca, but Chelsea is keen to bring in another shot-stopper to provide competition.

Lunin, who has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, is seen as a potential candidate to compete with Sanchez for the No. 1 position.

However, Lunin’s desire to remain at Real Madrid may complicate matters for Chelsea.

In an interview with Marca, Lunin expressed his desire to stay at Madrid, saying, “Obviously, but, well, all I can say is that everything went well with Madrid and that is now in the hands of Madrid.

That’s what I can say about my future.” When pressed on his desire to stay at Madrid, Lunin added, “Well, I said what I meant. Soon… Well, I don’t know what’s going to happen either.”

Lunin’s comments suggest that he is open to staying at Real Madrid, but is also aware that his future is uncertain.

Meanwhile, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is reportedly likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, may be included in a swap deal, despite recent interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad.

Kepa, who initially stepped in as Madrid’s primary goalkeeper but was eventually replaced by Lunin following several errors, is reportedly content to wait for further developments.

The situation raises questions about Djordje Petrovic’s role, who performed well under Mauricio Pochettino last season.

With Kepa likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, there is speculation that he might be included in a swap deal.

However, Lunin’s desire to remain at Real Madrid may complicate matters for Chelsea, who will need to consider other options if they are to strengthen their goalkeeping options.

Andriy Lunin’s comments have added fuel to the speculation surrounding his future, with Chelsea and other Premier League clubs interested in signing the Ukrainian international.

However, Lunin’s desire to remain at Real Madrid may complicate matters for Chelsea, who will need to consider other options if they are to strengthen their goalkeeping options.

The situation remains uncertain, with Lunin’s future hanging in the balance.
