BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal has turned down a substantial £50 million bid for an underperforming player

Arsenal has rejected a second bid from Marseille for striker Eddie Nketiah, valued at €27 million.

Despite Nketiah agreeing to personal terms with Marseille, Arsenal is unwilling to sell him for less than €35 million.

Manager Mikel Arteta highly regards Nketiah, and the club is expected to hold out for their desired price.

Marseille, under manager Roberto De Zerbi, is likely to return with an improved offer, given their history of signing prominent Premier League players.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal defender William Gallas has advised the club to sign Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez, a world champion with an impressive track record.

Gallas believes Alvarez would elevate Arsenal to the next level, and the club has already been linked to the Argentine forward.

Arsenal has strengthened its defense with the signing of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and is now focused on enhancing its attacking options.

Alvarez has had limited playing time at Manchester City, making him a potential target for Arsenal.

Securing his services would be a significant boost for the club as they aim to compete at the highest level.

Arsenal has already sold Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham and may consider selling Nketiah if the price is right.

However, they are in no rush to let him go, given his value to the team.

The summer transfer window is ongoing, and Arsenal is expected to make another signing before the deadline.

With Marseille likely to return with an improved offer for Nketiah, Arsenal must weigh their options carefully.

They may choose to hold out for their desired price or consider alternative attacking options like Alvarez.

Arsenal is in a strong position regarding Nketiah’s transfer, with Marseille expected to return with an improved offer.

Meanwhile, the club is exploring alternative attacking options, including Julian Alvarez, who would be an excellent addition to the team.

As the transfer window progresses, Arsenal will need to make strategic decisions to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest level.
