Rio Ferdinand recently emphasized that Bruno Fernandes is the only Manchester United player consistently delivering top performances, a rare bright spot for the club as they prepare for the arrival of Ruben Amorim as their new manager.
Amorim, who will leave Sporting CP, is set to step in on November 11, bringing hope to a struggling United side that currently sits 13th in the Premier League. The Red Devils triggered Amorim’s £9.25 million release clause to secure his services, drawn to the 39-year-old’s impressive track record and rapid rise in European football.
In the meantime, Ruud van Nistelrooy is serving as interim manager, leading the team until Amorim officially takes charge following the international break in November.
