Chelsea continued their strong Premier League form with a hard-earned 2-1 win over London rivals Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The match, however, ended in confusion as Marc Cucurella received a red card after the final whistle, leaving fans puzzled about the decision.

The same reasoning was cited for Schade’s yellow card.
As a result of the red card, Cucurella will miss Chelsea’s upcoming fixture against Everton.
This is a blow to Maresca’s team as they look to continue their strong form as the season progresses.
Reflecting on the incident, Maresca acknowledged the need for improvement in handling such situations, noting that the referee had explained Cucurella’s second yellow card was for his poor attitude.
