Maresca, in his post-match comments, acknowledged Neto’s impact, especially his effectiveness on the right wing.
The Chelsea boss explained that while he has multiple options in wide positions, including Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho, decisions are made depending on the opponent.
Nevertheless, he praised Neto for consistently stepping up and performing well since joining the club.
Even club captain Reece James weighed in, applauding Neto’s adaptability and describing his recent performances as “amazing.”
