Antony is enjoying a much-needed revival in form during his loan stint at Real Betis, and it’s starting to turn heads across Europe. The Brazilian winger, who joined Manchester United in a big-money move from Ajax, struggled to live up to expectations at Old Trafford. However, during his time in La Liga, he seems to be finding his rhythm once again. In 19 appearances for Betis, he has contributed six goals and four assists, displaying the kind of electric pace, flair, and creativity that once made him one of Europe’s hottest young prospects.
Despite his impact in Spain, Betis are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal due to the financial strain of his high wages. Still, his resurgence hasn’t gone unnoticed. Reports suggest Atletico Madrid have taken a keen interest in Antony and have reached out to inquire about a possible summer move. With Diego Simeone looking to add width and unpredictability to his attacking options, Antony is being considered as a viable target to strengthen the squad’s flanks.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are believed to be open to selling Antony if a reasonable offer is presented. The club is reportedly aiming for a transfer fee between €40 million and €50 million (approximately £34–43 million), a notable markdown from the hefty €95 million they originally spent to secure him. This valuation reflects both his recent improvement in Spain and the club’s intention to restructure the squad ahead of the new season.
Jonathan Tah – Not Currently in Talks with Manchester United

Though Tah has been loosely linked with a move to Manchester United, especially with their centre-back situation needing attention, Fabrizio Romano has clarified that there are currently no ongoing talks between the club and the player. Nevertheless, United are expected to remain alert to his situation.
