Man United COMPLETE £60M Premier League attacker signing compared to Mbappe, medical TODAY, club agreement DONE last night

OFFICIAL NOW: Manchester United are closing in on a new striker signing, as reports claim a £110M superstar has finally landed in London to undergo his medical today.

The deal is said to include a five-year contract that would keep the player at Old Trafford until 2030 — huge congratulations to all Man United fans on this stunning development!

Among the names linked with the club’s search for a new forward is Canadian international Jonathan David, who has quietly built an impressive reputation across Europe’s top leagues.

The 25-year-old has become one of the most consistent goal-scorers in France during his time with Lille.

In the past four seasons, he has delivered outstanding attacking numbers — last season alone, David scored 25 goals and assisted 12 more. The season prior, he netted 26 goals and contributed nine assists.

In total, over his last three campaigns, David has scored a remarkable 77 goals and provided 25 assists in 136 matches for Lille.

David’s strengths go beyond just scoring — he is also a tireless worker off the ball, pressing opposition defenders and contributing heavily to team play.

These qualities make him an ideal target for a side like Manchester United, who are in need of a forward with both quality and work rate.

David’s contract with Lille expired at the end of this past season, after the two sides failed to agree on new terms.

As a result, the 25-year-old striker is now looking for a fresh challenge, with many top clubs across Europe interested in signing him.

Barcelona were initially considered front-runners, but more serious approaches have since come from Italian clubs Napoli and Juventus.

Juventus, in fact, have been pursuing David since November and are currently leading the race.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants have already presented an offer to David, with the striker setting a self-imposed deadline of mid-July to make a final decision.

This timeline presents Manchester United with a short window of opportunity — about six weeks — to step back into the race and attempt to land the talented striker.

The pool of available elite forwards is shrinking this summer, with other names like Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, and Hugo Ekitike all commanding fees of £60M or higher. Compared to those targets, Jonathan David — still just 25, with a proven track record and available on a free transfer or for a relatively modest fee — could represent a massive bargain.

For now, it’s important to clarify: despite recent headlines, Jonathan David has not officially signed for Manchester United, nor is there any confirmation that he is currently in London for a medical.

Reports of a £110M fee are inaccurate — the actual valuation for David would likely be in the £25M–£40M range due to his contract situation.

Manchester United have shown interest in David, but no official bid has yet been made.

However, with INEOS eager to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s squad this summer, this could be the perfect opportunity for the Red Devils to make their move before Juventus finalises the deal.
