The 2025 summer transfer window is now officially open, and clubs across the Premier League are making big moves to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
This year features two transfer phases: an early window from June 1 to June 10 for Club World Cup participants, and the main window that opened on June 16 and will remain open until Deadline Day on September 1.
Arsenal
The Gunners have bolstered their squad with the arrivals of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £5 million and midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad for £51 million. In terms of departures, several senior players have left the club: Jorginho joined Flamengo on a free, while Kieran Tierney returned to Celtic, also on a free.
Nuno Tavares went to Lazio for £4.3 million, Marquinhos moved to Cruzeiro for an undisclosed fee, and both Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey were released.
Aston Villa
Villa added Yasin Ozcan from Kasimpasa and Zepiqueno Redmond from Feyenoord for free. Outgoings include Robin Olsen and Philippe Coutinho, while Kaine Kesler Hayden was sold to Coventry for £3.5 million.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth signed Eli Junior Kroupi and Adrien Truffert (the latter from Rennes for £14.3 million). Departures include Milos Kerkez to Liverpool for £40 million and Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid for a massive £50 million.
Brentford
Brentford secured Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool for £18 million and Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord. Mark Flekken left for Bayer Leverkusen in an £11 million move.
Brighton
Brighton had a very active window, with big-money deals like Charalampos Kostoulas from Olympiacos for £31.7 million. Joao Pedro was sold to Chelsea for £60 million.
Burnley
The Clarets made several under-the-radar moves, including signing Kyle Walker from Man City for £5 million and Marcus Edwards from Sporting CP. Notably, Nathan Redmond and Jonjo Shelvey were released.
Chelsea
Chelsea made headlines with the acquisitions of Jamie Gittens (£51.5m), Joao Pedro (£60m), and Estevao Willian (£29.1m). Kepa Arrizabalaga left for Arsenal, while Marcus Bettinelli went to Manchester City.
Liverpool
Liverpool splashed the cash, landing Florian Wirtz for £116 million and Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5 million, both from Bayer Leverkusen. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold made a shock switch to Real Madrid for just £10 million.
Manchester Clubs
Manchester City brought in Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri, while long-serving Kevin De Bruyne departed for Napoli. United signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million and released several veterans, including Christian Eriksen.
Others
Newcastle added Antonio Cordero and sold Lloyd Kelly to Juventus.
Sunderland spent on Habib Diarra and Enzo Le Fee, while Jobe Bellingham joined Dortmund.
Tottenham made exciting signings including Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso.
West Ham signed Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.
Wolves lost key stars like Cunha and Ait-Nouri, and brought in Fer Lopez.
