Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, recently recovered from a two-month ankle ailment, expressed readiness to engage in the Premier League title battle after City’s 6-2 victory over Luton Town in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

Haaland, who scored five goals, including a first-half hat-trick, alongside a stellar performance from Kevin De Bruyne, has helped City reach the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The Norwegian striker has been in impressive form, scoring seven goals in his last six games.

With talismanic player De Bruyne back at his best after overcoming a prolonged hamstring injury, the duo aims to lead City to a fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Currently trailing leaders Liverpool by just one point, City faces a crucial clash against Liverpool at Anfield in the upcoming week, with Arsenal closely following in third place.

Haaland issued a stern warning to Liverpool, stating, “It’s coming, and we’re coming,” as City intensifies its pursuit of the Premier League trophy.

Reflecting on his fitness, Haaland mentioned his return to top form, expressing excitement about the upcoming challenges.

Despite City’s triumph over Luton, there was a setback with Jack Grealish suffering a recurrence of a groin injury and being substituted in the 38th minute.

Grealish appeared visibly distraught on the bench, and manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the issue, stating, “I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet, but I believe he complained about the groin, so it may be similar.”

As City navigates the challenges of injuries and fierce competition in the title race, Haaland’s resurgence and confidence, coupled with De Bruyne’s influential return, provide City with a potent attacking force.

The anticipation is high as City gears up for pivotal encounters in both domestic and cup competitions, with Haaland’s declaration signaling the team’s determination to secure further success.
