Furious Manchester United fans demand immediate signing of Victor Osimhen

Manchester United Fans Demand Immediate Signing of Victor Osimhen – Frustration Reaches Boiling Point

As the summer transfer window heats up, Manchester United supporters are growing increasingly vocal in their calls for the club to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen without delay.

The patience of the fanbase is wearing thin, especially after a disappointing 2023/24 season that saw the club finish outside the top four and struggle to find the back of the net consistently.

Fans believe Osimhen is the ideal player to transform United’s attack and are urging the club to offer him a wage of £300,000 per week, comparable to top earners like Bruno Fernandes.

Many argue that if players like Bruno and Mason Mount — the latter of whom barely featured last season — can earn such hefty wages, then a proven goal-scorer like Osimhen surely deserves at least that amount.

The Nigerian international has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.

In the 2023/24 season, he netted 17 goals in 32 matches for Napoli, following an even more impressive 2022/23 campaign where he scored 26 goals in Serie A, helping Napoli secure their first league title in over 30 years.

In European competition, he’s also impressed, tallying 7 goals in his last 10 Champions League appearances.

Fans see Osimhen as the total package — fast, powerful, strong in the air, and highly clinical in front of goal.

He averages a goal every 118 minutes, a stat that highlights just how dangerous he is when given opportunities.

Supporters are confident he can deliver 20+ goals a season, something Manchester United desperately needs, given their total of just 57 goals in the league last season, the lowest tally for the club in over five years.

Beyond his goal-scoring ability, Osimhen’s physical style and pace are attributes that would bring balance to United’s frontline.

His presence could allow more creative freedom for players like Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho, while giving the squad a more dynamic and unpredictable edge in attack.

On top of that, Osimhen’s experience on the big stage — including scoring in high-pressure Champions League matches — could bring leadership and composure to a team that often crumbles in key moments.

The main obstacle remains the price tag. Napoli are demanding over £100 million, and Osimhen is reportedly seeking £300,000 per week in wages. Still, many supporters see this as a worthwhile investment.

They argue that splashing the cash on a proven striker makes far more sense than continuing to pay premium wages to underperforming players.

With Dan Ashworth now in place as the club’s sporting director, the expectation is clear — fans want United to act boldly and decisively.

Social media is buzzing with calls for action, with messages like “Stop stalling and sign Osimhen” becoming more common after every pre-season game.

In the eyes of the Manchester United faithful, Osimhen isn’t just another transfer target — he’s the key to turning things around. And for many, the time to act is now.
