BREAKING NEWS: Major developments in Arsenal’s transfer activity today!

    BBy B11 July 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Arsenal have reportedly taken a significant step toward strengthening their attacking department by completing a full agreement with a prominent European club for the signing of a new forward. The deal is said to be a permanent one, with the player expected to arrive in London shortly to undergo medical examinations and finalize the transfer.

At the same time, fresh reports indicate that Arsenal are seriously considering a move for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke. Although no official offer has been submitted yet, internal discussions have already begun within the club to determine whether to proceed with an approach for the talented 23-year-old attacker.

Earlier this week, Arsenal confirmed the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for a reported fee of £5 million, with the Spanish goalkeeper unveiled as their latest addition. Following their narrow miss in the 2024–25 Premier League title race, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is actively seeking to add more depth and creativity to his frontline.

While securing a top-class striker remains a major focus for the Gunners during the upcoming transfer window, Arteta and his recruitment team are also eyeing another technically gifted attacker to boost their options across the front line. According to respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are currently exploring the possibility of including Madueke in their list of potential targets.

Although there has been no formal bid or proposal submitted to either Chelsea or Madueke at this stage, that could change swiftly depending on the outcome of Arsenal’s internal evaluations. Romano reports that conversations behind the scenes are ongoing, with the Gunners weighing up whether Madueke fits their long-term vision.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs has added that Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca still values Madueke, yet the Blues may be open to selling him should an offer of around £45 million come in. This would represent a potential profit on the £28.5 million Chelsea paid PSV Eindhoven for Madueke in January 2023.

Since joining Chelsea, Madueke has shown moments of brilliance, tallying 20 goals and 9 assists in 90 appearances across all competitions. However, his end product and consistency have occasionally been questioned, especially in light of Chelsea’s overall attacking struggles. As a result, some sections of the club’s fanbase appear willing to see him move on, particularly if the club can recoup a sizable transfer fee.

Furthermore, Chelsea are expected to make additional signings in the forward department this summer, with players like Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Joao Pedro, and Estêvão Willian linked with moves to Stamford Bridge. These potential arrivals could further limit Madueke’s playing time, making a transfer a more appealing option for all parties involved.

A switch to Arsenal, on the other hand, could provide Madueke with a fresh challenge and a better opportunity to fight for a more consistent role in the team. He would be joining a vibrant attacking unit that already features the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard, where competition is intense but development is carefully nurtured under Arteta’s guidance.

As the transfer window heats up, all eyes will be on whether Arsenal take the next step and make their interest in Noni Madeleine official.
