Onana Drops a Bombshell After 1-1 draw to Fulham – Fans are Fuming

“He’s Not Ready – The Coach Got It Wrong!” Manchester United Goalkeeper Furious After Costly 1-1 Draw With Fulham

The tension inside Manchester United’s camp is beginning to boil over, and the cracks were laid bare after their frustrating 1-1 draw with Fulham.

What could have been a routine victory turned into another chaotic night for Ruben Amorim’s men – and this time, the fiercest criticism came from within the squad itself.

In the aftermath of the match, one of United’s goalkeepers did not hold back when asked about Amorim’s team selection. His words carried both disappointment and anger:

“He’s clearly not ready. He shouldn’t have been thrown into a game of this magnitude. It’s not on him, it’s on the manager for making that decision – and now we’re all paying the price.”

The remarks have only fueled speculation that Amorim is already beginning to lose the confidence of his own dressing room just weeks into the new season.

    Yoro’s Bright Start Overshadowed

Things initially looked promising for United. Teenage defender Leny Yoro marked his first Premier League goal in a United shirt with a towering header, giving the visitors a dream lead.

The away supporters roared with optimism, believing their side was finally in control.

But as has become a worrying trend, United failed to build on their advantage. Fulham slowly grew into the contest, exposing defensive gaps and exploiting mistakes. Eventually, the hosts found their equalizer, leaving United with only one point and plenty of questions.

    The Player Who Struggled

Attention quickly turned to one particular starter – the player at the center of the goalkeeper’s furious comments.

Misplaced passes, poor positioning, and lapses in concentration made him a liability rather than an asset.

Instead of helping United tighten their grip on the game, his nervous performance gave Fulham space to counter and claw their way back.

Fans watching from the stands and at home could see the issues clearly, and the post-match criticism from inside the squad only confirmed what many feared: Amorim gambled on a player who simply wasn’t prepared for the occasion.

    Supporters and Pundits React

United fans erupted on social media almost immediately, venting their frustration at Amorim’s stubbornness.

“Everyone could see he wasn’t ready – except the manager,” wrote one angry supporter.

“Yoro gave us the perfect start, but Amorim blew it with his selections,” said another.

Former captain Gary Neville, speaking on television after the game, echoed the mood:

“The coach made a call that completely backfired. You can’t put this all on the player  he wasn’t ready. The responsibility lies with Amorim for throwing him in under those circumstances.”

    Mounting Pressure on Amorim

The draw leaves United’s early-season record looking shaky, and pressure on Amorim is mounting fast. He was brought in to stabilize a club that collapsed to 15th last season, but instead of progress, the same old mistakes appear to be creeping back.

When even players are publicly criticizing their manager, it signals more than just tactical errors – it suggests a deeper disconnect.

For Amorim, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year, a chance to restore order and belief. But unless he adapts quickly, makes braver choices, and wins back trust, the storm around Old Trafford is only going to grow louder.

United’s rebuilding project is at risk of unraveling before it has even started – and Amorim’s grip on the job could be slipping away.
