BREAKING: Chelsea’s Hidden Strategy to Replace Alexander Isak Unveiled!

    BBy B26 June 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

Chelsea Football Club is actively searching for a new striker this summer and has made numerous inquiries, including one for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.

The club’s list of potential targets is extensive, with approaches already made to several teams.

The inquiry about Isak is the latest and could be the most expensive, as Newcastle is likely to demand a record-breaking fee for the Swedish international.

In addition to Isak, Chelsea has engaged in talks with Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa, Hoffenheim, and Lille regarding Samu Omorodion, Jhon Duran, Maximilian Beier, and Jonathan David.

The list of potential centre-forwards does not end there, as Chelsea’s interest spans even further.

According to the Daily Mail, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is another name on Chelsea’s radar.

Everton has offered Calvert-Lewin a new contract, but he has yet to accept it.

If no agreement is reached, Calvert-Lewin will become a free agent next summer.

Therefore, the 27-year-old striker might be available for a reduced fee if Everton decides to sell him this summer instead of losing him for free next year.

Chelsea has reportedly been keeping an eye on the situation since earlier this month.

Interestingly, Newcastle was also linked with Calvert-Lewin last week.

However, negotiations appear to have stalled, with Everton demanding £40 million.

This price tag seems too high for Newcastle and could also deter Chelsea if they formalize their interest in Calvert-Lewin.

The upcoming Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules could affect this situation.

Everton, having breached these rules for the past two seasons, might lower their asking price for Calvert-Lewin to secure a substantial profit on the £1.5 million they paid Sheffield United for him.

Chelsea’s search for a new striker has led them to explore multiple options, including Alexander Isak and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The club’s extensive list of targets and negotiations with various teams demonstrate their commitment to strengthening their squad.

The potential signing of Calvert-Lewin could be influenced by Everton’s financial situation and the upcoming Premier League rules, making this transfer saga one to watch.
