BREAKING NEWS: Pep Guardiola has reportedly expressed frustration over Arsenal’s move to activate the release clause of one of his primary summer transfer targets

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a double transfer move for Celta Vigo midfielder Williot Swedberg and Las Palmas forward Alberto Moleiro, according to reports from Caught Offside.

The Premier League giants are said to be closely monitoring the duo as they prepare potential offers to bolster their squad in the coming transfer windows.

Swedberg, a 20-year-old Swedish talent, joined Celta Vigo a couple of seasons ago and has largely been utilized as a rotational option.

However, his strong start to the current La Liga campaign, with five goal contributions in just as many appearances, has put him firmly on Arsenal’s radar.

His versatility is a key asset, as he is capable of playing on either wing as well as in central midfield, offering tactical flexibility for any side.

Meanwhile, Alberto Moleiro, a 21-year-old forward from Las Palmas, has been one of the standout performers for his team this season.

Moleiro has scored four goals in 12 league starts, including a crucial equalizer against Real Madrid that helped secure a valuable draw.

His primary position is as a left-sided forward, but he also thrives in an attacking midfield role, making him an attractive target for Arsenal’s dynamic frontline.

Caught Offside reports that Arsenal scouts have been actively tracking the performances of both players, with an eye toward securing their services.

Moleiro’s current contract includes a £50 million release clause, but with less than two years remaining on the deal, his price could potentially drop if he does not commit to an extension.

Swedberg, valued at approximately £4 million by Transfermarkt, still has over two and a half years left on his contract with Celta Vigo, which could allow Arsenal to negotiate a relatively affordable deal for him as well.

However, Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit. Several top European clubs, including Newcastle United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Roma, and Villarreal, are also reportedly interested in signing the young talents.

Despite the competition, Arsenal’s position as one of the Premier League’s leading clubs could give them an edge, especially if they can offer a clear pathway to regular first-team football.

The potential signings of Swedberg and Moleiro align with Arsenal’s strategy of investing in promising young players who can grow under Mikel Arteta’s guidance.

It remains uncertain whether the Gunners will formalize their interest with bids for the duo, but their versatility and recent performances suggest they could be valuable additions to the squad in the near future.
